I had a fantastic stay at this cozy pub with superb service! The staff went above and beyond by preparing breakfast for us, even packing food for our early hike the next morning. The dishes were well-prepared, especially the fish and chips made with fresh local ingredients, which truly highlighted the culinary experience. the GPS misled us initially, causing a minor delay in finding the inn.

Fantastic family-friendly stay!
We had a last-minute stay and felt so welcomed right from the start. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, even crafting a special meal for my gluten-free kiddo! The outdoor dining area was a big hit, too. One small thing—wish we had more options for the breakfast—but still super happy overall!

The Double Room was super comfy with a cozy vibe. The bed felt great after a long day, and the decor added a nice touch. I had a solid shower too! The only issue was that bright green emergency exit light kept me awake a bit. Otherwise, very chill and satisfying stay for sure.

the staff were super nice n welcoming. i got an unexpected upgrade to a double room with an awesome view. my shower was really good, and the bed felt so comfy. the food was tasty, even tho i arrived late, they still offered great fish n chips. the pub is in a chill spot, perfect for a peaceful night.
i found the breakfast portions way too big for me & my friend, and a bit overwhelming. also, i noticed the main dishes could use more seasoning.

Just a reliable pick for exploring town in Penrith with good price value. The power cut was handled well, and we enjoyed a nice meal despite it. Make sure to check which of the two inns you’re heading to before arriving.
